New Creations is in search of a Substitute Coordinator to add to the team!

Description:

The main responsibility of this position is the training, development, and retention of all Support Staff for each center as well as the daily operation of the New Creations’ Substitute Program.

Essential Functions-

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with all Site Directors weekly to identify Support Staff needs in different age groups/classrooms
  • Source substitute teacher applicants through JazzHR, Indeed and other professional networks
  • Makes sure all support staff files have required paperwork and are in compliance with DHS Licensing requirements
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition team on recruiting and onboarding efforts as needed
  • Conducts new employee orientations as needed

Substitute Program Job Duties:

  • Interview Support Staff Applicants
  • Schedule orientation, training for new hires and ensure onboarding paperwork is completed
  • Maintain/update the substitute system with staff schedules, contact information and site-specific needs
  • Ensure Substitute needs are fulfilled for all sites utilizing all available resources
  • Work with Executive Director of Talent Management on continuing education, performance and conduct guidance for Support Staff
  • Maintain and exceed Substitute Program hiring goals
  • Observe Support Staff in the field on a monthly basis or as needed to give goals, reviews, and feedback for continuing development
  • Scheduling and leading monthly team meetings
  • Assisting in continuing training with Support Staff and making sure required in-service hours are met
  • Entering Support Staff time sheets on a weekly basis
  • Update ADP with staff who needed to be added to the system or removed from it
  • Meets with all Support Staff quarterly on goals and feedback
  • Sends a “Peek of the week” to all Support Staff every week

Education and Experience- -Associates Degeree or a minimum of 2 years experience in an Early Childhood Education setting -Demonstrates qualities of an effective leader

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
