Strategy & Operations Lead, Data Digital & Technology (DD&T)

Reports to Head of US Business Unit, Data Digital & Strategy

About the role

The USBU Data Digital and Technology (DD&T) Strategy and Operations Lead is an important role to enhance operational effectiveness, guide strategy, improve understanding, improve performance, and lead special projects in consideration of important priorities.

You will be the operational lead for DD&T strategy and operational processes, lead the people engagement and communication strategies, serve as a cultural champion, and facilitate the tactical execution of all DD&T-driven forums.

You will work with the DD&T leadership team and important partners within US Business Unit to ensure operational execution and understanding.

How you will contribute:

  • Partner with the DD&T leadership team to ensure agreement on important strategic plans and identify opportunities to enhance performance across USBU DD&T.
  • Be the strategic partner to help build strategy and operational excellence,
  • You will identify and remove barriers, and lead important projects in consideration of the strategy.
  • Guide coordination, and follow-up of operational and strategic forums, performance updates, business reviews, and leadership projects, through planning, execution, and follow-up with DD&T Leadership team and other USBU partners.
  • Produce creative solutions, foster diverse perspectives, and allow others to do the same, while inspiring passion or growth.
  • Owner of the USBU DD&T engagement plan, including the communication strategy in partnership with our communications partner, and serve as cultural champion.
  • Lead the budget process in partnership with Finance and the USBU DD&T Leadership team

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree – BS/BA
  • 7+ years of experience with people and project management (Project Management in Pharm is a plus)
  • Work in cross function teams as a leader which encourages open expressions of ideas, opinions, and with consideration and discussion from differing points of view: .
  • Collaborative abilities with a history of being able to gain agreement
  • Verbal and written skills
  • ,Prioritize deadlines, and manage important issues
  • Manage projects concurrently and manage a large volume of details while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
  • You will need experience with financial and business planning as you will be key in the annual budget process.

Travel Requirement:

  • Ability to travel, up to 20%.
