About Americas Distribution Services Division (ADSD)

Our Americas Distribution Services Division (ADSD) provides governance and administration of Cat® dealers across the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

About the Role:
As a Strategic HR Consultant in ADSD, you’ll help our People Team innovate, create and embed tailored services and solutions in support of our business and talent priorities. This role will lead strategic people projects and provide global HR business partner support to commercial leaders and employees across the Americas Region.

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Partner closely with each Vice President of Distribution on department culture and employee relations needs

• Create and execute the department’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy driving metrics visibility and executing action plans

• Lead strategic HR projects related to culture, employee engagement, talent pipeline and other key focus areas

• Provide direction regarding interpretation and application of employee-related policies, practices and procedures, as well as international laws and governmental regulations

• Coaching and counseling leaders and employees

• Working with regional HR partners and enterprise process owners

• Conducting internal investigations

• Assisting with hiring, training, and safety-related initiatives

• Creating and tracking People metrics

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• At least 8 years of progressive human resources experience including internal investigations and application of employee-related policies, practices and procedures

• Experience using data and insights to drive decisions

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills)

• Ability to travel up to 15% (some international – Canada, LATAM)

Top candidates will also have:

• Experience communicating and influencing internal leaders at various levels in the organization

• Previous experience leading and executing HR projects across multiple, global regions

• Experience with Workday

Additional Information:

• This position would ideally be located in Peoria, IL or Dallas, TX; however open to remote candidates within the U.S. but travel requirement will increase.
