Honeoye Falls/Mendon Meadows Marketplace is currently searching for Store Attendants that will act as the first point of contact with customers and will ensure they have an enjoyable shopping experience. Duties and Responsibilities

• Support customer needs as the first point of contact for customers
• Engaging customers and employees in a friendly and cooperative manner
• Packing groceries into bags and bringing them directly to customer vehicles
• Responsible for keeping the parking lot and vestibule safe and clean while servicing customers
• Responsible for retrieving and cleaning carts in parking lot so they are ready for customers
• Re-shopping items from the front end back into the store
• General cleaning and maintenance in various areas of the store including work areas and bathrooms
• Restocking shelves and supporting store operations as needed
• Perform seasonal outdoor responsibilities (shoveling, salting, sweeping, etc)

Qualifications

• Must be over the age of 16
• Must be available to work at least two weeknight and one weekend day
• Ability to work in an efficient and controlled manner with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills towards customers and store staff
• Ability to operate as a team member and get along with others
• Ability to exercise patience when assisting customers
• Must be able to tolerate fluctuating outdoor temperatures and inclement weather
