An established home care agency is recruiting for a full time Staff Trainer to provide on-the-job training for newly hired staff and current staff in the areas of client care and safety skills in client’s residence. Must be flexible to be scheduled as needed within assigned work day and work week including weekend availability, based on meeting clients’ and employees’ daily needs. An individual in this position will be required to visit a variety of clients within the scheduled day. Duties will include acting as a caregiver for clients if required by business necessity and assisting our Home Care Managers, which may include, provisioning of Durable Medical Equipment, obtaining client supplies and accompanying client to appointments

The right candidate must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in providing personal care and in-home assistance to clients in their homes and/or institutions; also required is a minimum of 6 months experience in a lead position in a home care agency, skilled nursing or assisted living facility training/onboarding newly hired staff. Must possess excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. Reliable personal vehicle to travel from client to client required.

Other Requirements:

- Valid CDL and DMV record/Safe and reliable means of transportation
- Evidence of automobile insurance
- Ability to pass FBI/DOJ Background Clearance meeting state and agency requirements
- Pass a physical assessment and drug screening
