We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in our Lake Mary, Florida office for day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where creative thinking, problem solving, analysis, efficiency, autonomy, and initiative are required. The successful candidate should be a team-player, excellent communicator and be able to multitask while maintaining a high regard for the details. What Are the Staff Accountant’s Responsibilities:

• Participate in month-end and year-end financial close
• Prepare required journal entries
• Perform and assist with account and bank reconciliations
• Assist in budget preparation and analysis
• Prepare and gather data for both internal and external auditors
• Assist with other corporate accounting duties and special projects, as assigned

What Experiences and Education Do I Need To Bring To RLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word (Pivot/Vlookup)
• Experience with Quick Books Online and Net Suite preferred
• ERP Implementation experience a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Possess ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Must be accurate and detailed-oriented
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work overtime, as needed
• Must be high-energy and self-motivated
