Apex Dental Partners is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. Our ideal teammate will possess a mixture of entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to assist in all areas of the accounting department. This person preferably will have experience in multi-site accounting, and they will play a key role on our team by driving the month end close process, reconciling accounts and overseeing expense reporting.

The accounting team within Apex is responsible not only for providing timely and accurate financial reporting that drives operational and growth decisions in the business every day, but also for proactively seeking opportunities to lower costs and streamline financial operations. We’re part of a tight-knit support team that is having a blast in a fast-growing business. We’re looking for someone who has the desire and ability to grow into new responsibilities as our business continues to grow.

Job Responsibilities

As a member of the accounting team, you will have the opportunity to have a direct hand in ongoing projects, and from day to day will be responsible for the following:

• Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
• Overseeing expense reporting
• Month-end close
• Financial statement review
• Assisting on ad hoc projects

Job Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
• Experience with Microsoft products
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
