PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain client caseload
  • Present cognitive behavioral curriculum to clients as scheduled; subject matter may include Substance, Abuse, Criminal Thinking, Anger Management and related topics as outlined in the curriculum manual
  • Facilitate CBT groups with fidelity regarding material covered in groups as listed above
  • Complete risk need assessments, intakes, client schedules, treatment plans, periodic reviews and aftercare plans in timely fashion
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of services delivered, including case management service and group participation, as instructed by your supervisor
  • Participate in all staff meetings and staff supervision
  • Participate in all clinical discussions regarding client progress, as directed by your supervisor
  • Maintain knowledge of community-based resources and complete referrals as needed
  • Review and edit initial assessments and monthly reviews.
  • Audit clinical files and oversee process for making corrections where necessary
  • Assist Program Director (PD) in interviewing and training new staff, as needed
  • Review and finalize weekly Utilization Report.
  • Facilitate clinical meeting and provide supervision to staff during the absence of PD or when directed to do so.
  • Promote and lead agency culture of learning and respect to others as well as agency mission and strategic plan; empower staff in meeting the agency mission.
  • Follow all Agency policies and procedures.
  • Participate in program development or other administrative activities as needed
  • Provide additional coverage and duties as directed

OTHER RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn and demonstrate respect for the roles of other agencies (Sheriff's Department, Parole, Probation, Office of Community Corrections, etc.)
  • Participate in regularly scheduled supervision and be open to supervisor feedback
  • Actively participate in annual performance evaluation process
  • Attend all required trainings within the specified time frame
  • Mandated reporting of abuse and neglect
  • Ability to adhere to agency Confidentiality Policy
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS (Education and Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Rehabilitative Counseling or Social Work preferred.
  • Minimum of two years supervised counseling experience required
  • Experience working with justice-involved individuals strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting groups required, experience delivering evidence-based CBT curriculum preferred.
  • Previous management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong writing skills and computer proficiency a must.
  • Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance.
