The Sr. Accounting Manager will be in charge of:

• Managing Accounting functions for Rahi’s US and Canada entities

• Improving the quality of the entity’s financial reporting

• Manage revenue recognition and gross margin analysis for US and Canada

• Manage local tax filings and coordination with the tax firms on corporate income tax filing

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process ensuring timely and accurate reporting

• Manage the close calendar and the related internal and cross-functional communications

• Manage billing department employees including daily supervision, hiring and training.

• Optimization of accounting processes to streamline and shorten month end close

• Partner with Operations team on process improvement and automation projects

• Lead cross functional projects as requested including design of end-to-end processes, working with IT to test and implement systems

• Manage accounts receivable reporting needed to analyze workflows, receivables and revenue fluctuations and gross margin reporting requirements

• Manage the accounts receivable aging and follow-up process

• Technical accounting support and support with revenue recognition

• Support and successful completion of annual audits

• Manage local tax filings and corporate income tax filing requirements

• Support business and department goals and initiatives as needed

• Developing and implementing best practice processes and systems across the Group.

• Support on a variety of ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

Basic requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree. CPA highly preferred

• 8+ years of practical work experience leveraging global processes and tools in areas of intercompany, multi-currency consolidations and financial reporting

• High level of skills in accounting, US GAAP, accounting processes

• Fluent in English

• Netsuite knowledge and success in a global work environment

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in a global organization where leading and driving change across multiple companies is key

• Strong technical skills including knowledge of GAAP and sound understanding of financial statements

• Good understanding of overall business processes within Finance, general ledger systems and foreign currency translation

• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skill

Work Environment ?

This role requires the person to be available and present in office. This is a leadership role and the person will need to balance their own work hours to the need of the business to help drive outcomes.
