Kids Choice Pediatric Rehab & Therapy Center is seeking to hire an energetic, passionate, and patient-focused speech language pathologist to join our team! We have openings for school year positions as well as Full Time, Part Time, or PRN speech language pathologists. We have placements to service children ages birth through five years within our Mahoning County Head Start sites, children of all ages in our outpatient pediatric clinic, as well as children with autism within The Rich Center for Autism. We offer great flexibility with schedules and will work around yours! Kids Choice is looking for candidates that are highly motivated, ethical, compassionate, empathetic, professional, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job responsibilities:

• To provide evidence based, client-centered, early intervention speech therapy services to children of all ages
• To demonstrate knowledge of normal childhood development as it relates to language, articulation, oral motor, and social- pragmatic skills
• To demonstrate comprehension with evaluating and identifying deficits in age-appropriate skills and designing appropriate treatment plans and goals
• To demonstrate innovative treatment skills
• Report to Director of Rehab

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pediatric experience is preferred
• Experience with administration of the following standardized assessments PLS-5, CELF-5, Goldman Fristoe, and the OWLS is preferred
• Demonstrate adequate computer skills
• Must obtain criminal background check and child abuse clearance with no record
• Must be licensed in Ohio

• Our headquarters are in Boardman, OH where our newly renovated spacious outpatient clinic is located
• We currently provide OT services to two additional counties in Northeast OH as well as to charter schools in the Youngstown area. We provide OT, PT, and ST services at our clinic in Boardman, OH as well as at the Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University.
