Job description
We are seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a local school near Kerrville, Texas. This is a full-time position with a caseload consisting of 50 students from PreK-12.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students' communication skills in the school setting
- Provide therapy services to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions
- Submit Medicaid billing for eligible students
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited speech-language pathology program
- Current Texas state license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with PK-12 students preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
