Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (FT)
Job description
- Target goals based on assessment data that address the core deficits in ASD and focus on initiating spontaneous communication in functional activities, engaging in reciprocal communication interactions, and generalizing gains across activities, environments, and communication partners.
- Use a multimodal communication system (e.g., spoken language, gestures, speech-generating devices [SGDs], and/or written language) that is individualized according to the individual's abilities and the contexts of communication.
- Support treatment plans for speech and language services, including social language goals and goals for literacy development and for assisting the student with self-regulatory and social interactive functions.
- Learn and implement comprehensive, specific language program unique to our organization.
- Train family members and support staff in language program implementation.
- Serve as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team working with children with developmental disabilities and their families/caregivers

- Collaborate more deeply than you ever have before, working closely with clinicians and therapists from a broad range of disciplines.
- Licensed to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant in the State of California
- Experience with pediatric population
- Experience with patients with autism
- Bachelor's degree
- Early Intervention Experience
- Ability to work weekends
