Job description
- Under the direct supervision of the section lead, assesses specimen adequacy and assists with sorting of specimens.
- Performs procedures as outlined in procedure specific checklist.
- Ensures specimens are efficiently and correctly accessioned into Laboratory Information System.
- Resolves discrepancies for invalid/incomplete requisitions.
- Coordinates with Client Care Division to resolve discrepant specimens and orders.
- Maintains a neat work environment and adheres to all laboratory policies.
- Other additional duties or tasks as assigned.
- Position does not require reporting of results.
