SRMC is searching for a Specialty Clinic Manager to join our TEAM. This role is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the SRMC SPECIALTY CLINIC TEAM.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ordering supplies through purchasing and maintaining adequate stock to keep the clinic functioning.
  • Manages Specialty Clinic staff for scheduling, PTO, and payroll, and employee evaluations.
  • Responsible for successful onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Drawing on a clinical knowledge base and knowledge of payor regulations, Clinic Manager is responsible for assessing medical necessity and ensuring the presence of supporting documentation to obtain authorization.
  • Assists in promoting a safe, effective care environment conducive to the optimal health and dignity of the patient.
  • Assist Director with successful onboarding of new Specialty Clinic Providers.
  • Communicate and work with all Providers on accurate and timely completion of charting and documentation in EMR.
  • Actively seeks out and supports nursing and scheduling team members by providing professional and personal growth and development opportunities.
  • Facilitate staff meetings, department meetings, and 1-on-1 meetings with staff members.
  • Other duties as determined by the Clinic Director.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing work assignments and/or responsibilities.
  • Positive, TEAM-oriented attitude
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to partner with all clinic leaders at all levels.
  • Remain sufficiently knowledgeable about the legal aspects of the job positions, responsibilities and activities within the department to be able to avoid inadvertent violation of State and Federal statutes and regulations.
  • Expected to comply with applicable laws related to all job responsibilities and refrain from knowingly participating in illegal activities or failing to meet affirmative legal duties.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office and Outlook in order to create and update documents and schedule meetings.

Education & Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, RN
  • Required licensure/certification: Must be a registered nurse in the State of Nebraska
  • 5 years of clinical experience in a clinic or hospital setting required. Experience in the prior authorization process or utilization management preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
