WinnCompanies is looking for a Special Projects Technician to join our team in Fort Campbell, KY. In this role, you will repair building structures and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary systems and equipment.

You will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, office buildings, residential areas, grounds and parking lots, and you will ensure that all service is performed safely and results in favorable customer feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Perform light construction, including cabinet installation, flooring installation, drywall, rough and trim framing, plumbing, electrical, etc.
  • Respond to service calls, complete COM work, and perform other property maintenance requirements including, but not limited to: cleaning, painting, interior/exterior decorating and maintenance, appliance repairs, etc.
  • Respond to and complete on-call after hour emergency and urgent repairs.
  • Update work order status including time, materials and notes on mobile devices provided in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Keep supervisor well-informed of activities, results, and potential problems, in order to recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory as prescribed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • Basic familiarity with computers and mobile devices.
  • Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing and electrical trades as assessed through written, verbal, and hands-on assessments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, visitors and other organization staff and respond to basic questions.
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers in a professional, service-oriented, and respectful manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational or technical training.
