Position Title: Software Engineer

Position Summary:

Paramount Apparel, a 90-year-old Missouri company is seeking a Software Engineer to help with the implementation and support of a new ERP. This role will work closely with a Senior Software Engineer and the Director of Technology. Initially this position will be dedicated to the implementation of a new ERP and related software and websites. Later the position will migrate to be responsible for new development projects.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• None

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help develop business process analysis and process improvement activities
• Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, and provide potential solutions.
• Provide data specific recommendations for streamlining business process
• Work closely with the business to identify and prioritize current and future needs, and implement solutions
• Elicit, analyze, validate and document business, organizational and/or operational requirements
• Deliver training and business process documentation.
• Assist the helpdesk team when needed in order to aid users in troubleshooting and daily issues
• Participate in future ERP enhancement, upgrade, and other implementation-related projects

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Align with company mission, vision and values
• Technical skill including HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
• Experience with Vue.js, Laravel PHP, MySQL is desirable.
• Experience with Linux servers is a plus but not required.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus but not required.
  

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, or other related field.
  

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This position can be a remote position meaning up to 95% of job functions may be performed remotely/offsite.
