Overview:
The Software Engineer position will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, documenting and support of information systems. This role primary focus will be working with “SHARE” software system. SHARE system is in use by hundreds of internal users daily to process different crucial workflows. This role must be detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively across multiple departments. Must be comfortable gathering requirements, providing technical support, documenting architectural design, and creating reports for the executive team.

Responsibilities:
1. Participates in design of web and desktop applications with emphasis on security and performance
2. Conducts system analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies
3. Assess users’ needs and design software to meet those needs
4. Diagnoses current applications for problematic programming
5. Design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of applications within established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value
6. Responds promptly and professionally to defect reports
7. Researches and utilizes tools that assist with development, security, and performance
8. Engage and contribute to team in a collaborative manner while achieving deliverable objectives

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or technical discipline required
2. Excellent knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns
3. 3+ years of formal .NET web/Desktop application development in C#, Visual Studio, and TFS
4. Experience developing Windows Forms applications
5. Experience with full stack development on all layers of a web and desktop applications
6. Experience working with Angular and Typescript development preferred
7. Strong understanding of networking and distributed computing principles
8. Strong understanding of IIS, routing, client/server programming
9. Experience developing against MS SQL datastore
10. Understanding of SCRUM process and Agile approach to development
11. Ability to determine whether a problem is caused by hardware, software, operating systems, or network failures
12. Experience resolving production and infrastructure issues
13. Experience researching and presenting technologies and solutions
