DESCRIPTION
Care Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Social Worker who has the passion and drive to help our Residents live their best possible loves within our facility through a broad range of outstanding rehabiliitative services.
Care Pavilion is a 396-bed acute and long-term care facility, located in the heart of Philadelphia and easily accessible via public transportation from all areas of the Philadelphia and the western suburbs. At Care Pavilion we provide quality compassionate care to our Residents. We have made it our mission to provide our Residents with a superior experience. This translates to the consistent delivery of safe, high quality clinical care in the absence of preventable harm.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Prior Nursing Home Experience
- LSW licensure required; LCSW or LICSW strongly preferred.
- Minimumthree (3) years’ experience as a social worker in a healthcare related setting. Experience within a nursing home or rehabilitation center strongly preferred.
- Knowledgeable of the rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern nursing care facilities.
- Communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
