Position Title: Social Media Specialist Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Campaigns Manager Position Status: Full Time

Job Class: Exempt Salary Range: $40,000 to $45,000

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating and posting content as well as implementing social media campaign strategy via social media platforms for the following entities: World Changers Church International (WCCI), Creflo Dollar Ministries (CDM), and Taffi Dollar Entities/Enterprises (TDE) and other pages as assigned.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the marketing department in the scheduling, follow-up, and execution of all social media marketing campaigns
• Coordination with the Graphics team on the creation of social media graphics for CDM, TD and WCCI page including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
• Creating graphics as needed for the pages mentioned above
• Creation of monthly social media calendars for CDM, TD and WCCI pages including IG, Twitter and Facebook
• Posting to the feeds of the pages named above based on social media calendars
• Facilitation of all stream yard based virtual events
• Scheduling and attending photoshoots for Taffi Dollar & Creflo Dollar as needed
• Download and upload of confessions daily on Creflo Dollar’s social media pages
• Comment monitoring of all online services including confessions, Wednesday service and Sunday service
• Working with eChurch Coordinator to ensure posting of sermon notes to the eChurch groups on Facebook
• Assist in coordination of social media content capturing for events and conferences including on-site support
• Capturing Sunday Service “behind the scenes” content for immediate posting to social media platforms
• Provide organized, flexible, and proactive collaboration in a fast-paced, team environment
• Provide Creative and innovative ideas to move the social media pages forward.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with high attention to detail and in accordance with ministry protocol and processes
• Assist with communicating, updating, and managing all incoming social media requests and tasks using Microsoft Outlook, Basecamp, Dropbox, and Monday.com
• Prepare WCCI Volunteer Social Media & Photography Team schedule.
• Troubleshoot fraudulent activity and ensure protection of brand across social media platforms
• Coordinate photography and social media efforts for weekly services and event campaigns
• All other duties as assigned by manager/director.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications

EXPERIENCE:

• Social Media Marketing experience
• Content Creation Experience
• 3-5 years in Social Media, Marketing, Advertising or related field
• Familiarity with all current social media platforms
• Previous marketing experience in a faith-based organization is a plus

• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to maintain confidentiality a must
• Good organization skills
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday
