An Excellent Opportunity*
We are looking for a Digital Media and Web Specialist who can help us successfully tell the Girl Scout story and market it to a broad range of audiences through the Council’s website, email marketing campaigns, and video and online content for digital platforms. Additionally, this Specialist will manage the Council’s digital media with a digital asset management (DAM) software system.

Here’s What You Will Be Doing*

  • Set up and manage new, organization-wide digital asset management (DAM) system.
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure a seamless workflow for asset sharing.
  • Manage website content, while making it accurate and user-friendly.
  • Implement scheduled marketing plans into website banners.
  • Design graphics and write copy for new web pages.
  • Create multimedia content such as videos, polls, and other design elements to enhance the website.
  • Monitor and report on site usage, digital metrics, and statistics on Council’s website and email marketing campaigns to ensure acceptable performance and user accessibility.
  • Recommend content improvements to attract more users and deepen the level of public engagement.
  • Keep abreast of trends and recommend best practices for website management and email marketing.

Is this you?*

  • Have 2+ years of digital marketing experience through jobs or internships
  • Experienced with a content management system (Adobe Experience Manager, preferred)
  • Specialized expertise in web content design
  • Excited to support marketing and communications on the back-end with an analytical lens
  • Energetic team player who is ready to take on their own projects while also supporting colleagues as needed
  • Sense of curiosity about creative marketing elements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Superb project management
  • Known as a strong editor and keenly attuned to details
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and video editing software is a big plus!
  • Experienced working on a Mac platform
  • Passionate about marketing and communications
  • Passionate about youth leadership
