SIGN GRAPHIC DESIGNER, PRODUCTION & INSTALLATION ASSOCIATE

Signarama, the world’s largest sign company, is seeking a graphic designer, production and installation associate for its location in Downtown San Diego.

Please note:

· This position is full time, nonexempt hourly Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

· Starting pay $18-22 per hour, depending on experience.

· Ideally looking for candidate to start ASAP

Responsibilities:

This position is primarily sign design but also involves production and installation responsibilities to include but not limited to:

· Create sign designs and production files in Flexi based on information and specs provided by client and team.

· Utilize the HP printer, plotter, Flexi, Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, and RingCentral.

· Greet customers and answer phones in a professional and knowledgeable manner.

· Provide proofs for clients to review, edit, and approve.

· Keep customers updated on the status.

· Track customer color codes, material, etc. preferences and keep a running inventory of all stock and supplies.

· Track project status.

· Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates.

· Print, mount, trim and finish various digital graphics and signage.

· Apply vehicle and window graphics.

· Use an X-Acto knife and ruler efficiently.

· Properly load and use a cold pressure laminator following standard safety precautions.

· Load and cut vinyl on a plotter.

· Load media, inks and generate quality prints from digital print equipment.

· Move raw materials, sheets and roll goods for manufacturing.

· Operate a vertical panel saw and table saw using standard safety procedures.

· Maintain machinery in good working order.

· Maintain an organized, clean, and professional store appearance at all times.

· Assist in operating and managing the store when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must know how to use Flexi and have experience using Flexi for sign designs.

· Must know how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

· Must be organized, detailed, a self-starter, professional, and provide great customer service.
