Raymond Westis looking for amotivatedShop Technicianto join our winning team.This positionis responsibleforthe maintenance and repair of material handling equipment. Using basic hand tools and electric measuring devices, the technician will troubleshoot and repair equipment back to manufacturers' recommendations/specifications.These repairs will include disassembly and reassembly, along with both major and minorcomponentreplacement of all parts associated with electric and internal combustion lifts trucks, and other material handling equipment asdesignatedby management.

Essential Functions:

• Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment — Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment thatoperateprimarily based on mechanical and electrical principles.
• Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment — Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts.

• Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge — Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
• Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
• Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, via two-way radio, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material — Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials toidentifythe cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• IdentifyingObjects, Actions, and Events — Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.

• Controlling Machines and Processes — Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity tooperatemachines or processes (including computers and vehicles).
• Analyzing Data or Information — Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
• Spend Time Using Your Hands to Handle, Control, or Feel Objects, Tools, or Controls — This job requires using your hands to handle, control, or feel objects,toolsor controls on a regular basis
• Face-to-Face and Phone/Radio Discussions — Ability to conduct professional and informative face-to-face and phone/radio discussions with customers,vendorsand team members as part of this job.

Experience and Skills
Education/Experience:

Minimumof a high school diploma or equivalent isrequired. This position requires some type of mechanical experience or training.

Pay Range:

• $19.00 - $27.00
