Veterans Fence & Supply is expanding our team. We are looking for a motivated and capable team member that is ready to join our team.
As demand increases for fence installation, so does demand for support personnel. We service Chatham County, Bryan County, Effingham County and parts of South Carolina. The ideal candidate would have experience in a shop/warehouse environment, a general mechanical knowledge and the ability to transport themselves to and from the shop each day.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manages all inventory, equipment and vehicles
- Receives all deliveries- verifies count and organizes materials
- Maintains an accurate inventory count
- Requests purchase orders as needed to maintain inventory levels
- Readies supplies and materials for each job
- Delivers additional materials to job site as needed
- General upkeep of shop and yard
- Reports to General Manager
Job requirements:
- High school diploma
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to drive a forklift and truck with trailer
- Position is in shop/job site from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday
- Competitive hourly pay- eligible for reviews every quarter
