Job description
We are currently recruiting a Shipping/Receiving Forklift Associate for our SW Portland client. Bring your minimum 1 year experience is shipping and receiving to this great opportunity to work for a well-established company that provides a variety of products and services in the defense and aerospace industries.
Shipping/Receiving Forklift Associate Responsibilities:
The Shipping and Receiving Associates is responsible for the receiving, distributing of materials and products, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area, warehouse, and production floor
- Conduct cycle counting
- Pull and organize kits for production team
- Verify contents of inbound freight, stock items on shelves and label products/bins
- Basic inventory tasks including counting, location changes and inventory consolidations
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday from 11am to 7:30pm. Please note that training will take place on day shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm, upon completion of training shift will move to 11am to 7:30pm.
Pay: $21.75 - $21.75/hr
Requirements:
- Ability to use an RF scanner
- PC Skills
- Sense of urgency
- 1-year prior experience
- Must have Forklift experience
