***Contract to Hire***
Purpose
Provide oversight and technical guidance for daily Outbound Shipment operations ensuring the safe, legal tender of products to our carriers. Responsible to ensure compliance with all relevant distribution laws and regulations. Accountable for the accuracy and traceability for the products in preparation for the shipment process from Lantheus to the transportation carrier network.
Essential Functions
- Create domestic and international shipping documentation based on orders entered by our Customer Service Group.
- Reconcile outgoing packages as prepared by the Product Shipment Team to confirm that proper labeling is in place and shipping documentation is present.
- Transfer of product to Carrier network with all internal policies and requirements to ensure the safe and legal tender of our products worldwide.
- Confirm that End of Day shipping manifests are printed, align with freight being released to the carrier, and signed and making sure the shipping dock is well organized and stocked with necessary items to facilitate shipping activities.
- Ensure the shipping dock is inspection ready by clearing all pallets and empty containers daily.
- OTIF process to ensure tracking of outbound packages are delivered within the requested delivery dates and time.
- Monitor packages in transit and report the OTIF and communicate with couriers to troubleshoot delayed packages.
- Track packages in transit using courier portals to monitor any delays.
- Work with courier to determine what delays have been encountered and address future delivery delays.

Minimum Skills and Experience and Education
- Comprehensive understanding or supply chain dynamics, processes and workflow Export and Distribution.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Routinely scheduled work, and or overtime work required on evenings, weekends, and or holidays and, even in adverse weather conditions. See Essential Personnel Policy.
- Must complete relevant certifications, tests, DOT and IATA and or exams required for compliance with internal standards and regulatory agencies within established timeline for position.
- Handling of and, or exposure to potentially hazardous chemical, radiological and or biological materials. Required to follow all safety procedures, and use personal and protective equipment provided.

Education And Skills Requirements
- BA/BS required; MBA or Master’s Degree desired with 3+ years of experience in a position directly related to supply/manufacturing planning; preferably clinical supply chain planning.
