About The Job

We are looking for a Shift Manager to join our team to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently during the night shift. This position has a set schedule of 45 hours per week Tue - Sat 6 pm - Close (varies between 2 am and 3:30 am). This position could lead to a promotion to Assistant GM that offers an increase in pay and bonuses.

Responsibilities include, managing and helping in the daily operation, training new staff members, and supervising restaurant staff performance.

To be successful in this role, you should have restaurant and management experience and a good understanding of what makes great customer service. Must be available to work Friday and Saturday.

Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication with staff
• Supervise kitchen and provide assistance as needed
• Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding and training
• Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Ensure service time and quality is up to Are U Hungry's standards

Requirements

• Work experience in management in the hospitality industry of 2 years or more
• Customer service attitude
• Communication skill and team management abilities
• Availability to work nights and weekedns (Tuesday - Saturday)
• High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus

Benefits

• 4 weeks off per year
• 2 weeks paid off per year (Work 48 weeks per year and get paid for 50)
