Sheeter Assistant

Wage range $17.00 to $19.00 depending on experience.

Schedule: Rotational- See below.

• Sheeter Assistant, 1st Shift (3am-2:45pm) or 2nd Shift (3pm-2:45pm), 11.75 hours/day, M T W, or TH F S, with working every other Sunday (only if needed). Must be open to rotation schedule.
• Must be able to lift, push pull up to 50lbs, and stand for the duration of their shift.
• Assist the Sheeter Operator by identifying the proper rolls for upcoming jobs, and staging rolls into the sheeter.
• Must be able to take direction form Sheeter Operator and stay within the sheeter area.
• Will need to splice rolls into the sheeter, remove all damaged sections of the rolls and calculate how many feet were damaged.
• Be able to measure and confirm roll size matches roll ID.
• Be able to identify grades and caliper of paper rolls and sheets. Physically Locating the rolls using Carton ERP (operating system).
• Assist the Operator in performing preventative maintenance for the sheeter.
• Stage completed pallets and be able to operate a pallet jack.
• Place the recycle scrap in the waste bin.
• Maintains areas using 5S tools (Clean, Sort, Organize Work Area).
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety instructions.
• Must have basic math (read and understand measurements) and basic computer skills.
• Help in other departments as needed.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Be able to pick up and discard items that are on the ground level and that are above shoulder level.
• Must be available for OT and working weekends if needed.
