We are currently looking to hire an EXPERIENCED Automotive Technician for a full-time position. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3+ years experience at a dealership or similar automotive mechanic shop. ASE certifications are a PLUS, but NOT REQUIRED.

We have an immediate opening for an A- or B-level tech. You’d be responsible for maintaining and repairing used vehicles, troubleshooting issues and fixing them efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Repair/replace broken and/or dysfunctional parts or issues efficiently
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) aiming to increase vehicle functionality and longevity
• Communicate with service team to obtain needed parts
• Provide accurate estimates (including cost, time and effort needed) for repair/maintenance jobs
• Keep logs on completed work and hours per job
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a service technician/auto mechanic
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle components
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Work well with a team
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangers fluids, chemicals, etc.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• High School diploma preferred; certification from a vocational school or completed apprenticeship is preferred
• ASE certification a plus
• Must have your own tools
