Job description

Mersino seeking a support person to help in our maintenance/repair shop. The ideal candidate will be people-oriented with a professional and positive attitude, able to learn and undertake a variety of tasks, as well as complete data entry in our computer system. This person must be comfortable working around truck drivers and mechanics personnel in a shop setting. This person will work directly with our shop supervisor. Some mechanical, technical, parts knowledge is preferred, but this is an entry level position.

In this role, you will: Assist mechanics with preparation for repairs and equipment issues, inventory maintenance, parts and supplies, stock, clean tools and yard, file paperwork, assist in the shop as needed, basic cleaning and organizing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a mechanical setting preferred
• A good learning O\orientation
• Effective time management
• Ability to lift heavy objects (75lbs) and perform strenuous physical labor
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
