Summary/Objective

The Sales Executive, with a territory located in Southern New Hampshire, will be responsible for profitable and aggressive sales growth within their territory. This position will be responsible for both owner direct sales as well as plan and spec work.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain relationships with end users, contractors, and consulting engineers
  • Assist consulting engineers with the design and specification of system controls applications
  • Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs for control systems applications per plans/specifications
  • Create monitoring systems sketches and provide to internal engineers and electrical contractors for detailed design and competitive bids
  • Prepare technical scope of work proposals and presentations and deliver to client executives
  • Field engineer and propose solutions to meet the end user s needs
  • Negotiate final pricing and scope of work with contractors and end users
  • Provide operational support to ABS project managers on new installations
  • Attend sales meeting and training seminars
  • Monthly forecasts and account planning
  • Propose and negotiate multi-year service contracts to end users
  • Achieve annual revenue and gross margin targets
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proved track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas of at least 2M
  • Proved owner-direct sales success
  • Ability to influence/write specifications for ABS solutions
  • Experience selling HVAC controls
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings
  • Understanding of building HVAC systems and application of controls
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communications and interactive skills
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor s degree in engineering or IT preferred
