Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, assists the Service Specialist with pre-job service and SmartWell® completion equipment preparation, and with SmartWell® completion product installation at the well site.
- Assists with post-job demobilization including clean up, return of service/completion equipment and the maintenance and/or repair of service equipment.
- Completes all well site and post job review documentation required by the HMS.
- Demonstrates knowledge of all third party well site activities that could impact the process of installing SmartWell® completions products.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills related to HSE related activities (eg. site assessments, risk analysis, safety huddles and meetings, selection/use of PPE, etc.).
- Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
- Consequences of error are normally detectable and are often recoverable.
- Given the nature of oilfield service work, all employees must be able to execute written and verbal instructions and effectively exchange information with peers and superiors that will increase the likelihood of job success.
- Every employee must be able to work as an effective team member.
- Employee will develop all remaining skills required to be able to deploy the least complex SmartWell® completion products and services at the customers' well sites without direct supervision in his/her geographic area.
- Employee will develop and demonstrate a working knowledge of local HCT-WellDynamics HMS processes as well as develop and demonstrate their ability to perform the pre-job review of the job design to understand the total job scope, the desired result and the processes and tools to achieve success.
- Employee must also display leadership, interpersonal skills and the capacity to direct the activities of others including the interface with rig crews and third party vendors.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, reading, comprehension, written communications and display advanced computer skills is essential.
- This is a development position with the expectation that all Service Operators will advance to the Service Specialist position
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Service Operator II or Service Specialist II.
