KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Valuations practice.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review valuations related to a variety of complex financial instruments, such as corporate/interest rate/foreign exchange derivatives, contingent consideration, convertible debt, structured products, and equity compensation
• Work with financial models with diverse valuation methods, such as lattice, option pricing methods, Monte Carlo simulation and other advanced modeling techniques
• Prepare reports, memos, and presentations for clients
• Utilize Excel in addition to STATA (or alternative statistical modeling software), mathematical models, programming languages such as R or MATLAB, Excel VBA, Bloomberg, FINCAD and/or other application and data providers

Additional Responsibilities for a Senior Associate:

• Lead and manage engagements with minimal supervision
• Provide leadership to associates
• Participate in marketing activities

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Experience or demonstrated interest in the valuation of fixed income instruments and complex financial securities
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical abilities
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, presentation, problem solving and

Additional Qualifications for a Senior Associate:

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience
