Server– Milwaukee Athletic Club

What You'll Do:
Do you have a passion for serving up delicious food and beverages with a side of excellent hospitality? Then we want you to join our team as a Server!

As a Server at the Milwaukee Athletic Club, you'll be the life of the party, providing top-notch table service to our beloved members. You'll be the go-to guru for all things menu-related, sharing your extensive knowledge of food and beverages with our guests. You'll take orders, make recommendations, and deliver delicious dishes and drinks with a smile.

Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Provides an impeccable dining experience.
  • Complete detailing of station and all side duties prior to shift starting.
  • Learn and maintain product knowledge of the food, wine, and beverage menu(s), as well as general restaurant and club knowledge.
  • Accurately take and deliver orders in a timely fashion adhering to established guidelines.
  • Present accurate check to member following timing guidelines.
  • Complete accurate closing paperwork.
  • Assist as needed, in completion of other duties as assigned.
  • Assist teammates when needed.

What You Bring
  • Hospitality experience, full-service dining room server experience preferred.
  • Excellent service and hospitality skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Restaurant is indoor/outdoor, must be able to work in varied weather conditions.
  • Due to cyclical nature of hospitality business, varied work availability is required.
  • Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale system accurately.
  • Wine and cocktail knowledge a big plus.
  • Ability to anticipate and quickly fulfill guests needs.
  • Actively looks for ways to help people.
