Elite Insurance Partners, a fast-growing insurance firm, is looking to add a SEO Content Strategist to our SEO team. This role is ideal for someone with junior-level search engine optimization experience and a strong writing portfolio.

The SEO Content Strategist’s primary responsibilities will include creating content for our websites, ApplyForMedicare.com and MedicareFAQ.com. Ideal candidate will be experienced in crafting high-quality, SEO-optimized content that’s focused on delivering high level of user experience.

SEO Content Strategist Primary Responsibilities:

• Write new and update existing web content for our multiple Medicare education resource brands, ensuring accuracy, keyword optimization, and proper spelling/grammar/composition. Web content primarily consists of articles but also includes video scripts and infographic/micrographic copy
• Research relevant topics while analyzing the credibility of sources
• Perform keyword research using tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, and more to optimize new and existing content
• Experienced using Surfer SEO to achieve optimal keyword density percentage for all articles
• Complete ad hoc copywriting assignments for Elite Insurance Partners' various brands across a variety of marketing materials
• Become a subject matter expert on Medicare (we provide a Medicare 101 training course and all material is reviewed by a compliance team prior to publication)
• Put great emphasis on meeting brand editorial, tone, and voice standards
• Takes pride in work created and deliver high quality and targeted content

SEO Content Strategist Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English writing, or related field from an accredited college or university
• 1-2 years of experience in content writing/editing and/or search engine optimization roles
• Understanding of SEO content/copywriting best practices
• Experience with SEO keyword research tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs
• WordPress and basic HTML knowledge/experience is also a plus
• Insurance industry experience desired, Medicare experience ideal
• Willingness to learn and become a subject matter expert on Medicare
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and reliable professional who consistently delivers high-quality work on time and can stay on-task and adhere to a schedule while working remotely
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to work during normal operating hours, Monday through Friday, Eastern Time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
