KPMG is currently seeking an Associate - AMCS to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide knowledge in federal tax credits including, including but not limited to Employee Retention Credit (ERC), Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), Energy Credits, including the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Production Tax Credit (PTC), New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), Federal Disaster Tax Credits and other emerging federal tax credits
• Assist in credit studies and related activities
• Keep up to date on current federal credit practices and tax law and Perform tax technical research
• Attain visibility/recognition in the local federal credit services community and develop and sustain excellent client relationships
• Communicate directly with client personnel, including operations, finance, accounting and engineering

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of recent federal credit experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience, preferred
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Access; experience performing internet research
• Ability to travel and work at client locations, as needed
