Senior Tax Accountant- Accounting Advisory Services

The ideal candidate should possess a strong proficiency in tax accounting, love to take initiative, and be able to lead, coach and review the work of junior level accountants and bookkeepers. This position leads the advisory service and handles the business and individual returns for a group of well-established and diverse clients of the firm. The work is challenging and often requires understanding of complex tax concepts and research to develop tax planning strategies beyond compliance

Senior Tax Accountant Experience and Competencies:

• Degree in Accounting.
• Proven minimum experience of 3 + years as a CPA or

5 + years as an Enrolled Agent.

• Solid competency in problem solving and critical thinking.
• Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software. (Thompson Reuters C5-Ultra Tax is a plus.)
• Strong desire to grow to higher levels of responsibility and leadership.
