Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled senior system administrator to join our team.
In this role you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems; manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems; provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc; provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and
resolution of problems; provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers; provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process; configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements and updates to
improve reliability, security and performance.
Essential Duties: Stand up and configure Windows or Linux servers. Apply patches and upgrades. Troubleshoot server issues. Administer customer accounts Deploy monitoring tools. Deploy applications and tools. Assist with escalated customer tickets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field (or additional 5 yrs System Administration experience)
• 15 years experience
• Security+ Certification
• Windows or Linux system administration background
• Knowledge of physical and virtual servers (rack/stack, network, build, deploy, etc.)
• Knowledge of log aggregation applications
• Desired:
  • Experience with Linux System Administration
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/Splunk
  • Experience with Syslog/NxLog
  • Experience with Nagios or other similar monitoring applications
  • Scripting experience (Python/Perl)

Salary: 215K-226K
(The compensation of this position starts at the lower amount of the stated salary range while higher amounts may be achieved by the candidate accepting less PTO, waiving Healthcare, or both.)
