What does Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) do?
SI&T integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

Job Summary:
The Radars and Sensors Center within Systems Integration and Test seeks a talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team supporting integration data analysis that covers a wide array of testing. We support testing activities that range from design verification and qualification testing, system test requirements development, planning execution and analysis for system verification in hardware-in-the-loop facilities and sell-off of production radar systems. We develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer, and integrate hardware and software.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Support planning, design and execution of integration and verification tests for hardware and software modifications
- Prepare plans, procedures, and test cases
- Develop detailed integration information sheets and detailed verification information sheets
- Update the engineering test environment for use by the hardware, software and systems test teams including configuration management of hardware, software and firmware
- Perform work on DOORS requirements database to update and maintain the Verification Cross Reference Matrix
- Perform data analysis of radar hardware, radar software, and radar simulations
- Support Acceptance Testing and DD250 of radar
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree (Masters) with minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience. Relevant experience includes Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification and Validation experience for Department of Defense systems AND
- Experience using tools such as MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or other similar programming language
- Experience executing systems engineering activities (resolving technical questions, creating test plans, automating test scripts, developing processes for handling large data sets, performing hardware integration, and conducting performance analysis within a team environment
- Experience analyzing technical system requirements, troubleshooting technical issues with software or electronics systems, understanding troubleshooting and failure processes, performing risk identification and mitigation, following processes, and handling sensitive information
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
- Experience including test, integration, or verification and validation methods in a radar production environment and developing or evaluating requirements
- Experience integrating software with hardware/electronics, establishing configuration control processes, using Linux/UNIX, and familiarity with MATLAB
- Ability to periodically travel (CONUS and/or OCONUS), support extended work hours on short notice and work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles while supporting test program objectives
- Experience with requirements test development, test analysis, derivations, verification and test validation, and creating integration and verification strategies to support efficiency improvements
- Demonstrating a basic understanding of RF power sequencing and analysis and being familiar with radar data analysis
- Proficient analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to simplify complex problems by utitilizing first principles to develop conclusions
- Ability to perform effectively in an environment with frequent and direct interaction with customers and peers, function efficiently in diverse teams by being able to mulit-task, and being customer oriented and results driven
- Current/Active DoD security clearance
