Position is mostly REMOTE. Will require some in office days.
The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing and reporting of the financial data for month end and year end closing; analyzing and reconciling various bank accounts and general ledger accounts; billing external agencies for services; monitoring and providing monthly reporting for physician loans and student loans; preparing sales and use tax returns, unclaimed property returns, occupational tax returns, 1099, 990 and 1120 tax returns; monitoring and providing quarterly and year end reporting for various grants; maintaining the general ledger system; assists multiple companies with their department budget preparation; and directs, supervises, and evaluates the Staff Accountants and Accounting Specialists.
What is required:
BBA in Accounting
Five (5) years Staff Accountant experience
