We are seeking for a Senior Solution Consultant to provide enterprise architecture consulting services for the clients.

This position will lead and execute a variety of Enterprise Architecture solution related work. The position will lead efforts to identify and deliver Enterprise Architecture services that support Enterprise Assessments, Technology Roadmaps, Data Management, Data Integration /Middleware Solutions to the clients with a strong emphasis on teamwork, customer commitment, industry best practices, and continuous improvement.

  • $120-$125/hr., based on experience
  • 40 hours per week, M-F
  • Travel requirement: less than 30%

  • The selected candidate will join The Enterprise System Integration team, which is focused on providing Enterprise Solution Services delivering high value to the clients through a variety of leading technologies. The Enterprise Architect shall possess strong application architecture, information architecture, middleware practices and general technical skills to work with our clients to design and implement core enterprise solutions.
  • Candidates must also have a broad understanding of all enterprise architecture layers including business architecture, application architecture, information architecture, infrastructure architecture, security architecture, and governance.
  • Candidates must have strong project execution capabilities, possess strong leadership and collaboration capabilities, excellent communication skills, be focused on continuous improvement and Enterprise Innovation, and have a strong attention to detail while delivering high quality work to our clients.
  • The Enterprise Architect is responsible for providing strategic guidance, research, planning and best practices to the clients executive leaders to make investment decisions that align with the long-term vision of the organization.
Key responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Enterprise Architect Strategic Expert in order to create Enterprise Strategies for the clients that clearly communicates industry best practices that support our clients business and technology objectives.
  • Apply industry experience and best practices to architect, design, develop, and implement Enterprise Architecture solutions to support complex business requirements.
  • Apply knowledge and expertise of current and emerging application architectures and supporting middleware integration technologies and data practices to develop and deliver quality Enterprise solutions in both Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT) domains to meet client objectives.
  • Serve as Enterprise Architecture Expert on projects executed for Electric Transmission/Distribution/Generation, Municipal Government, Airport and Facilities industries.
  • Meet and work with Companys business analysts and clients to translate business requirements into Enterprise Application/Technology solutions and services.
  • Work with clients with all phases of Project Delivery Lifecycle; Plan, Analyze, Design, Build, Test and deployment focused on key priorities and business objectives.
  • Assist with preparation of Enterprise Integration solution proposals including the development of technical specifications, technical approach, team qualifications, cost estimates and schedules in response to client request for proposals.
  • Actively participate on Enterprise Architecture related technical committees and professional organizations to promote and expand companys architecture capabilities, experience and solutions providing thought leadership.
  • Ability to lead our clients through high level Enterprise Architecture discussions and discovery strategies pertaining to the electric utility industry focusing on IT and OT Applications and Technologies.
  • Identify, write, and present Enterprise Architecture Strategies and technical papers, white papers, and presentations.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance and leadership to Jr. staff members.
  • Use Architecture (Application/Technology/Data) experience and knowledge to provide input and influence project execution processes and quality assurance/quality control protocols.
  • Responsible for participating in and leading the Enterprise Architecture and Integration portion of sales pursuits and proposal development.
  • Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field is preferred; Equivalent work experience will be substituted.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience providing Enterprise Architecture Strategies, Enterprise Integration solutions and services leveraging various applications and technical platforms.
  • Excellent Enterprise Architecture and Integration skills, including data architecture, cloud architecture, middleware and other architectural methods and practices.
  • Have lead or participated in a minimum of 5 large scale Enterprise Transformation projects using industry Enterprise Architecture strategy solutions and middleware technologies.
  • Strong ability to influence or lead Enterprise Integration project execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with Application Data Analysis and transformation at various layers of the architecture and possess the ability to present data transformation during various stages of the architecture.
  • Experiencing with leading edge application, middleware technology and solutions utilizing data strategies.
  • Experiencing with a variety of project execution methodologies including but not limed to Waterfall and Agile.
  • Experience developing Enterprise Architecture strategies focusing on data, application, and technologies for clients in the Utilities Industry.
Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 to 4+ years of experience at a consulting firm (large or boutique e.g., Accenture, West Monroe, GridBright) delivering digital-technology strategies and architectures
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience as an employee of or consulting with an electric utility (IOU or large municipal/cooperative e.g., CenterPoint Energy, CPS Energy, Entergy, Pedernales Electric Cooperative) leading architecture teams and/or serving as an enterprise architect
  • Experience with architecting solutions in distribution operations of an electric utility including Information Technology and Operational Technology components
  • Experience in integrating operational systems in Electric Transmission/Distribution/Generation/Telecom (SCADA, ADMS), Municipal Government, Airport and Facilities industries is preferred.
