Overview:
By Light is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in providing support to our client at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will be someone that can work independently or within an intergrated team.
Responsibilities:
The goal of the project is to support the existing applications in their current environment and work with a team to modernize the enviornment and the code:
- Design, build, test, and deploy software applications and features
- Carry software products through the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Write clean, concise, and efficient code
- Manage code documentation and version control
- Work in an agile environment to release software on a regular schedule
- Troubleshoot and debug software
- Work with business analysts to define software requirements
- Provide Operations and Maintenance support
- 6+ years of relevant years experience required.
- College degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience
- Experience with software development life-cycle
- Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
- Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.
- Experience with:
- ASP.NET and/or ASP.NET Core experience
- ASP.NET MVC
- C#
- SQL Server development
- T-SQL
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- Knowledge of Medical privileging a Huge plus
- Working on government projects
- Active VA Clearance a plus
- Creativity is always a plus
