Job Title: Senior Revenue Analyst

Position Summary:

The Development Operations and Revenue Analytics team (DORA) drives revenue growth by developing data insights that guide revenue strategy. The team is integral in helping the Michael J Fox Foundation scale its mission through an expanded revenue base.


The Senior Revenue Analyst will bring the outstanding analytical skills and data interpretation capability to uncover opportunities to drive fundraising automation and operational excellence. This role will provide strategic input, enhanced reporting, and data-driven recommendations to drive the Foundation towards analytics maturity. You will have the opportunity to partner across all functions within the foundation and deliver highly visible work with large impact. We are actively seeking someone with a strong quantitative background, sharp business acumen, and an entrepreneurial mindset.


This position will be expected to have a hybrid flex work schedule with at least part-time in MJFF’s office in midtown New York City. Standard business hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Foundation supports flexible and remote work schedules.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deliver, and maintain ongoing revenue metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, and other data solutions for fundraising team, diving deep into business trends and performance across several revenue sources and initiatives.
  • Leverage advanced statistical and analytical expertise to analyze and interpret datasets from multiple data sources to provide actionable insights and develop innovative data-driven solutions; support and ensure accuracy of data pipelines across different business units and reporting systems.
  • Audit current reporting processes and identify opportunities to automate and streamline.
  • Lead and conduct data science projects and explorations; develop, test, validate, enhance performance of statistical models and other BI reporting tools to inform better decisions related to fundraising strategy.
  • Contribute to cross-functional strategic conversations and decision making; provide data structure and business analytics guidance to support new initiatives and platform integrations.
  • Support opportunities for operational improvement to drive efficiency within the fundraising team; once new processes are implemented, work with teams to analyze results, optimize, scale best practices, and iterate.
  • Ensure the adoption of new or revised tools and processes; own the full change management process associated with the new tools and processes initiated.
  • Collaborate closely with CRM and Analytics teams from other business units to implement data governance and analytics center of excellence.
  • Communicate and present observations and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders across the foundation.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in related field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Consulting) with measurable success and achievement.
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in related field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Marketing, etc.).
  • Highly analytical, sharp, and innovative thinker.
  • Proven commitment to data hygiene, project management and customer service.
  • Working knowledge of human-centered design and empathy.
  • Experience building customized and interactive dashboards with BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with rationale database; proficiency in Python, R, SPSS, and other scripting languages a plus.
  • Experience with CRM, especially Salesforce, a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex analytics to both experts and novices.
  • Strong organizational skills: keen multi-tasker able to support diverse teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary & Benefits:


The salary range for this position is $80k - $90k. In addition to salary, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
