Job Summary:
We are seeking a senior R&D consultant for development coagulation tests at Mindray IVD Innovation Center Minnesota. (remote is OK)
Essential Functions:
Consulting activities include the following:
- Guide the design and development of coagulation assays such as APTT, PT, FIB, PS, coagulation factors, etc;
- Help resolving issues encountered in the development of coagulation assays;
- Provide direction and suggestions for coagulation assay development;
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration in projects; Share knowledge, mentor team members.
Knowledge/Educational Requirements and experiences
M.S. or Ph.D. in either Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.- 7+ years’ combined education and work experience on coagulation assay development in IVD companies or research laboratories, experiences, on the development of APTT, PT, FIB, PS, coagulation factors assays, are required.
- Understand user needs and their implementation, performance evaluation and clinical applications for coagulation assays and reagent-system integration, are required.
2. Skills and Abilities
- Know-how in the fields of coagulation assay and system development.
- Experience in conducting research, data interpretation, and writing reports; Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to interact effectively at different levels in the organization and across different cultures is required. Bilingual (English and Chinese) ability is a plus.
