NYC Health and Hospitals seeks to establish and manage several Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Center (HERRC) facilities to offer direct service provision, resource navigation, and temporary respite for single adults, adult families, and families with children.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee laundry service for HERRC program
• Manage multiple vendor contracts by working in partnership with vendors to develop expectations and accountability structure and measures for evaluation
• Design and implement a laundry service program to deliver consistent quality standards and efficiency
• Act as point of contact for all laundry related questions from HERRC on-site management, staff and project lead
• Develop and oversee reporting of key program metrics to share regularly with program leadership
• Oversee onsite laundry service teams
• Be point of escalation for on-site issues
• Work closely with legal and finance team as new sites come online to ensure contracts are up-to-date
• Other related duties as assigned

1. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in #1 of Level I above; and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in administration, management and execution of clinical projects and programs of various complexities, in a health care setting or for health care programs, one (1) year of which must have been directly managing multiple concurrent clinical projects and programs in those areas; or
2. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as described in #1 of Level I above; and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience, three (3) years of which must have been, as described in #2 of Level II above; or
3. Completion of education leading to a degree in nursing, medicine or a related clinical area can be substituted on a one-to-one basis for experience as described in #1 above. However, all candidates must have at least three years’ experience managing concurrent clinical projects/programs and/or clinical research experience; or
4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
