General Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Manufacturing Equipment & Process Planning is responsible for steering and coordinating all Manufacturing and Program related activities with the Production Partner and the Program Team. This role is the active link between the Production Partner and the Program Team.
The main responsibility of this role is the Equipment & Process Planning for the entire factory. Additionally, the Senior Manager will focus on and oversee all activities for General Assembly and Logistics, including Facility and Structure topics.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate resources, provide clear direction and timelines for deliverables, and delegate tasks across the core and regional teams to ensure agreed deliverables.
  • Responsible for Equipment & Process Planning and Realization for structure and vehicle projects.
  • Coordinate and manage daily activities including but not limited to resource loading, monitoring equipment & process design and build progress, and communicating issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Actively supporting all equipment and process related commissioning activities.
  • Lead engineering efforts for process and equipment designs/modifications and resource planning between all program and project team member.
  • Participate in team meetings, generate action items, and follow up with team members.
  • Coordinate interdependent tasks and deliverables with other groups across the Fisker teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning and Process and Production Partner.
  • Produce comprehensive and elaborate spreadsheets, graphs and PowerPoint presentations for meetings and management reports.
  • Identify, maintain, and ensure project milestones and related activities are fully met.
  • Ensure alignment between all individual contributors, internally, at the Suppliers and Production Partner.
  • Act as interface between Manufacturing and other cross functional teams and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Track, report, and monitor all program and project activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field. Master of Science is preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant Automotive Manufacturing experience in a Management and/or Project Management role.
  • 10+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Process Improvement.
  • Significant experience leading an EV Launch.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies
  • Experience in building extension and facility structure projects, including Brownfield and/or Greenfield.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate to people at all levels within manufacturing organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines, with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Great understanding of product and process development processes.
  • Experience with critical situation management.
  • High level of initiative and sound judgement.
  • Creative, energetic, self-motivated, and highly organized.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
Additional Requirements
  • Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, as required.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.

Expected Salary Range
$92,260.00 to $257,010.00 per year.
Additional Compensation
Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
