Senior Logistics Specialists

KBR is seeking a

Senior Logistics Specialist

to join our team. This position supports the NAVAIR PMA-231 Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control platform office and will be based out of

Pt. Mugu, CA.

The successful candidate will participate in meetings and collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data.

Role and Responsibilities:
Prepares logistics support documentation and source data, such as logistics operational management/user documents, integrated logistics support plans, user logistics support summaries, post-production support plans, and logistics implementation plans.

Implements logistics plans, databases, and support files to support the fielding of new complex information systems or major modifications.

Applies logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics solutions. Performs logistics database management functions.

Performs logistics inventories and related logistics functions.

Works independently and leads the implementation of logistics discipline.

Specific tasking will include but is not limited to:
Acts as the Degrader Action Cell (DAC) lead to identify root causes and implement corrective

actions.

Lead and participates in recurring meetings with Industry

partners.

Acts a liaison between PMA-231 and the Fleet to identify top degraders, elevating to the Reliability Control Board (RCB).

Manages Internal Communication System, while providing valuable feedback from the Fleet and Subject Matter Experts (SME).

Facilitates site visits between NSWC Crane and Fleet Sailors.

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s Degree plus t

welve (12) or more years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Contract Requirements (Allowable Substitution):
Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a Master’s degree

OR

Associate’s degree plus eight (8) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a Master’s degree OR Associate's degree

OR

Twelve (12) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a Master’s degree.

Must exhibit well-developed verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; analytical skills; attention to detail; organizational skills; ability to assess, apply, and recommend improvements to established business processes; and can balance priorities to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment.

Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).

Must be a self-starter and be able to co-lead meetings and capture actions items and meeting minutes.

Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

A current Secret Clearance is required.

Contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
