Senior Financial Analyst - Full Time

Description: As a full time, exempt Senior Financial Analyst with CPS Solutions, LLC you will perform financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, pricing, profitability and become the financial system expert for the corporate FP&A team within CPS. This role requires an analytical thinker with the ability to problem solve both on their own and in a group setting. This includes evaluating trends, risks, and recommending solutions or other corrective actions to maximize cost savings and profitability. Prepares and regularly distributes reports to operational and finance management. Provides superior customer service to internal and external customers.

Schedule: This position typically works at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday day shifts, with occasional evening and weekends based upon business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes current and past financial data and performance for the company
  • Prepares financial reports, ad hoc financial analysis, financial modeling, and financial projections based on financials
  • Evaluate and forecast weekly cash flow for the company
  • Assist in the consolidation of monthly financial reporting packages for the executive team
  • Help to maintain and optimize Financial Reporting systems, includes maintaining the accuracy of dimensions, attributes, and the employee workforce
  • Coordinating with corporate department leaders and other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field
  • 5+ years of financial, cost accounting and/or analytical experience
  • Experience gathering data and manipulation to create analytical reports and tools that support the organization
  • Experience working with healthcare financial management is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated time and organizational management skills
  • Experience working with highly experienced and educated professional staff
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft office programs; Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook and Teams
  • Ability to understand, implement and monitor CPS developed tools
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with internal and external clients
