DecksDirect is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our growing E-commerce company to support our mission of helping people build better decks!

This position is an important role by providing business analytic performance insights, collaborating with key leaders, and owning web/performance data. The Senior Finance Analyst will also provide lead support in working with our category teams in areas of forecasting and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively monitor operational and financial performance data to spot trends in the business, determine root causes, and resolve/drive improvement.
• Analyze product performance to enhance forecast and replenishment process.
• Partner with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and data insights on topics such as campaign performance, product profitability, and operational performance.
• Govern Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
• Manage ad hoc projects focusing on business growth and profitability based on business priorities.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of work experience
• Proven experience with large data sets and analysis
• Previous NetSuite experience, a plus!
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, or another related database preferred.
• Strong business acumen – ability to understand how various parts of the business interact and can identify and approach problems from a customer perspective
• Progressive thinking and problem-solving skills
