A design/building Engineering Firm is seeking an Sr. Electrical Engineer based in the Buffalo area. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing electrical systems for industrial projects. The design responsibilities will primarily be focused on AC power systems from 120V-15kV as well as PLC control systems and will be reviewed and approved by the senior engineers.

The salary is commensurate with experience in the $100-135K+ range with other great benefits! All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing electrical designs for industrial projects, including power distribution, control systems, lighting, and communication systems.
• Conducting site visits to assess electrical systems, evaluate potential hazards, and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Creating technical drawings and specifications for electrical systems using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Selecting and specifying electrical components, including motors, transformers, and control devices.
• Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems to identify and correct problems.
• Providing technical support to project teams and clients during all phases of a project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and implementing electrical systems for industrial projects.
• PE or EIT strongly preferred
