We are currently seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with at least 10+ years’ experience to join our exciting team. The successful candidate will be required to provide civil/structural leadership and experience on small ($10M) to large ($100M) projects. The ideal candidate must have extensive civil engineering experience covering earthworks and civil/structural design.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Has demonstrated the capability to manage various construction concepts on small complex construction projects of above average complexity, typically in existing operations situations.
- Is responsible for overall construction work progress and performance on the project for assigned tasks.
- Supports the development of less experienced construction staff through active coaching and mentoring, especially those who support the program on a temporary basis.
- Provides direction to the contractors that support the program, in conjunction with the policies that have been set forth by the client and the department. Ensure that the construction project team(s) consistent with established project delivery processes to ensure the orderly, efficient, and timely completion of the project scope in accordance with requirements specified in the contract documents.
- Completes the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring that GRDi’s HS&E, quality, financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are met.
- Provides leadership and accountability for the implementation, and measurable performance, Health and SafetyProgram
- Is responsible for developing and writing the CM procedures for the department, and setting up the systems from which the department should follow, as it relates to CM support services.
- Is the face to the client in responding to pre-construction questions during the design phase.
Qualifications
- BS in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- 10 years minimum in a Construction Management role
- PE, CCM or other certification/license
- Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
Contractor rates can be negotiated.
